Dr. Albert H. Rubenstein, Professor Emeritus, Receives Medal of Excellence

Dr. Albert H. Rubenstein, Professor Emeritus, received the 2009 Medal of Excellence at the Awards Banquet of the PICMET '09 Conference, Portland, Oregon, on August 4. The Medal of Excellence is "given for extraordinary achievement of individuals in any discipline for their outstanding contributions to science, engineering and technology management."
Dr. Rubenstein is founder and president of International Applied Science and Technology Associates (IASTA) and professor emeritus of Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences at Northwestern University. At Northwestern, he founded and directed the Program of Research on the Management of Research, Development and Innovation; and the Master of Engineering Management program. He co-founded and directed the Center for Information and Telecommunication Technology.
