Biography

Professor Tamhanes research interests are statistical multiple comparison procedures, design of experiments, biostatistics, and engineering statistics. He has authored three books:  Multiple Comparison Procedures (with Y. Hochberg) published by Wiley (1987), Statistics and Data Analysis: From Elementary to Intermediate (with D. Dunlop), published by Prentice Hall (2000) and Statistical Analysis of Designed Experiments: Theory and Applications, published by Wiley (2009).  He has also edited two books: Design of Experiments: Ranking and Selection (with T. Santner), published by Marcel-Dekker (1984) and Multiple Testing Problems in Pharmaceutical Statistics (with A. Dmitrienko and F. Bretz), published by Taylor & Francis (2009).
